CHED assesses JMCFI’s 11 new course offering

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office XI conducted an assessment on February 22, 2023, on the Jose Maria College CHED assesses JMCFI’s 11 new course offering

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office XI conducted an assessment on February 22, 2023, on the Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. (JMCFI) to evaluate its twelve newly applied programs. These programs include BS in Nursing, BS in Pharmacy, BS in Biology, BS in Medical Technology, BS in Radiologic Technology, BS in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing, BS in Tourism Management, BS in Entrepreneurship, BS in Agriculture, Early Childhood Education, and Technical-Vocational Teacher Education.

The evaluation team composed of Dr. Liza C. Suan, Dr. Evelyn S. Ecle, Dr. Lourdes D. Cesar, Dr. Randy A. Tudy, Dr. Cesar A. Adegue IV and Engr. Rodrigo S. Pagantihon, Jr,  reviewed and evaluated the curriculum, learning materials, assessments, faculty, and facilities of the newly applied programs of the school.

The team’s purpose was to ensure that the programs meet CHED’s standards and guidelines for higher education. CHED has set strict requirements to guarantee that the programs offered by higher education institutions are of high quality and provide the necessary skills and knowledge to students.

JMCFI has demonstrated its commitment to providing diverse opportunities for its students by offering a range of programs that cater to different interests and concentrations. The twelve newly applied programs evaluated by the CHED team are set to be the new program offerings of the institution in the next academic year.

The school’s information and communications group, in a statement, assured the public that they would keep them posted on developments and innovations being undertaken by the institution. It shows the school’s transparency and accountability, essential in building trust and confidence in the institution and its programs.
