COLLEGE OF LAW

1. Criteria for Student’s Admission

Any applicant may be admitted to the College of Law provided he/she must meet all the following requirements

  1. He/she must be a holder of a Baccalaureate program;
  2. He/she must have earned the following number of units in English (18 units), Mathematics (6 units), and Social Sciences (18 units);
  3. He/she must pass the Philippine Law School Admission Test (PhiLSAT).
  4. He/she must pass the dean’s interview.
An applicant who is given a Probationary Status during the interview and application process may be accepted into the college. However, he/she shall be subject to evaluation after one semester. If he/she fails on any subject after one semester, he/she shall be given a Final Warning to pass all subjects the next semester. After the end of the year, if he/she still fails on any of the subjects, he/she can no longer enroll in JMC.

2. Probationary Status

A student shall be under Probationary Status if he/she falls under any one of the    following conditions:

  1. He/she is recommended by the Dean to undergo probation.

An applicant who is given a Probationary Status during the interview and application process may be accepted into the college. However, he/she shall be subject to evaluation after one semester.

If he/she fails on any subject after one semester, he/she shall be given a Final Warning to pass all subjects the next semester. After the end of the year, if he/she still fails on any of the subjects, he/she can no longer enroll in JMC.

3. Enrolment Procedure
NEW STUDENTS

STEP 1: ADMISSIONS

  • Fill out Enrolment Form and submit admission requirements.

STEP 2: DEAN’S SECRETARY

  • Copy class schedule.

STEP 3: REGISTRAR

  • For encoding of subjects and releasing of Class Cards.

STEP 4: CASHIER

  • Pay school fees.
CONTINUING STUDENTS

STEP 1: ADMISSIONS

  • Submit requirements and fill out the enrolment form.

STEP 2: DEAN’S SECRETARY

  • Copy schedule of classes.

STEP 3: ENCODER/REGISTRAR 

  • For encoding of subjects and releasing of Class Cards.

STEP 4: CASHIER

  • Pay school fees.
