“Amazing! It is how we feel about it.” Says a college faculty member upon learning that the first batch of Jose Maria College’ BS Criminology graduates, who took the 2018 Professional Board Examination for Criminologists, conducted on December 14, 2018 and following days, all hurdled the tough licensure examination.
The successful passers were; Alfred Y. CastaÑeda, Rcrim, Nelia C. CaÑo, Rcrim, Maverick P. Garcia, Rcrim, Flores, Peter Paul M, Rcrim, Junmar G. Monterde, Rcrim, Ciarra Mae R. Toreta, Rcrim. The newly licensed Criminologists will take their oath at a date to be announced by the Professional Regulations Commission.
Meanwhile, the College of Criminology continues to enhance its curricula to better prepare the BS Crim students for the licensure examination.
Dr. Ricardo V. Garcia, Rcrim reports that the college has acquired additional laboratory equipment, instructional materials and devices in order to provide the best classroom experience to the students. Alongside these is the establishment of linkages and support for the continuing professional development of teachers who are regularly sent to trainings and seminars in order to become updated with the latest trends for the profession.
