The Faculty and students of the BS Psychology department traveled to the National Capital Region to participate in a two day national event which is the 32nd Psychological Association of the Philippines –Junior Affiliates (PAPJA) Convention on January 25-26, 2019 held in the Mall of Asia Arena on day 1 and at the National University in Manila on day 2.
The convention focused on the promotion of excellence in the teaching, research, and practice of Psychology, and its recognition as a scientifically-oriented discipline for human and social development.
Participants to this event were eleven students from the BS Psychology department namely; Rea Mae Dorothy E. Aguilar, Kristin Rollen L. Del Rosario, Maria Devine Grace T. Diolas, Mary Apple T. Macarine, Leah Mae M. Roluna, Jean M. Septimo, Sheila Estallo, Madel Dana Añonuevo, Faith Momo and Austin Bleau Maxey, led by their BS Psychology Program Head Ms. Abegail B. Escobido and College Instructor, Ms. Relynhart Pomicpic. The group participated in various events at the PAPJA convention namely: Psych Clips Video Making Competition, Inter-school Psychology Quiz Bee, Apperception T-shirt design and various workshops discussing Psychology issues and topics.
