Championing the importance of a conducive learning environment for better student achievement, program head Joan Mae S. Espinosa of the College of Teacher Education (CTE) bagged the Best Poster Presentation Award in an international conference.
Espinosa represented the Jose Maria College (JMC) in the first international conference of the Philippine Association for Teachers of Educational Foundations-United Professionals for the Development and Advancement of Teacher Education, Inc. In an interview, the education program head expressed the inspiration behind her research entitled, “Learning Environment and Achievement in English of Grade Six Students of Jose Maria College.”
“The research was made out of the desire to know what learning environments do students need who eventually deserve to receive an assured, consistent and quality education,” Espinosa said.
She also expressed her gratitude to the JMC administration for the support.
“I thank the Founding President, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, and the rest of JMC’s administration for their untiring support which led to the realization of the success of this research,” Espinosa added.
