In line with its culture of excellence, Jose Maria College held a 3-day faculty seminar-workshop last May 4-6 this year.

The school’s Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Danilo L. Mejica initiated the said program. “I’ve prepared a lot for this seminar. I make sure that we will achieve our objectives and that we will all learn from this activity.”, Dr. Mejica said during the opening program.

Participated by teachers from preschool to college, the said event consisted of a well-designed platform with the following topics: (1) Handling Students with Special Need; (2) Qualitative Research Process; and (3) How Children Learn and Effective Parenting.

School Administrator Dr. Nelia Q. Canada also graced the said event. “This activity aims to empower and to develop our teachers. Here in JMC, excellence is our norm.”, she said during the culmination day.

Teacher-participants from JMC Main Campus and JMC Indangan were grateful for completing the 3 sessions. “It’s a privilege for us to attend in this seminar. We’ve learned a lot of valuable things which will help us in our duty as educators.”, College of Arts and Sciences Mr. Dennis Lazarte shared.
