JMCFI avers ‘strong’ position in July 2025 Webometrics

Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. (JMCFI) maintains a strong standing in Region XI and among private HEIs in the Webometrics July 2025 edition.

JMCFI continues to demonstrate a stable and competitive digital and academic presence in the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities July 2025 edition, sustaining its rankings across global, regional, and national indicators.

For July 2025, JMCFI posted the following standings:

• World Rank: 15,543 (unchanged from the previous cycle)

• Asia Rank: 2,604 (unchanged)

• Country Rank (Philippines): 106 (unchanged)

• Regional Rank: 7th in Region XI

• Private HEIs Standing: 4th among private higher education institutions in Region XI

In terms of individual performance indicators, JMCFI achieved:

• Impact Rank: 13,704 globally

• Openness Rank: 9,021 globally

• Excellence Rank: 7,405 globally

These results reflect JMCFI’s consistent performance in terms of web visibility, openness of scholarly outputs, and academic excellence, underscoring the institution’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its digital footprint, research dissemination, and global engagement.

Administered by Webometrics.org, the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities evaluates higher education institutions using a multidimensional framework that goes beyond traditional research metrics.

The Webometrics ranking system covers more than 32,000 higher education institutions across over 200 countries and is released twice a year, in January and July.
