In line with its commitment to academic excellence and quality assurance, Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. (JMCFI) conducted Session 1 of a two-part faculty training workshop on February 6, 2026, titled Training Workshop on AUN-QA Aligned Course Outline Revision and Writing. The session was facilitated by Dr. Felix C. Chavez Jr., who provided comprehensive guidance on revising and developing course outlines aligned with the standards of the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA).

The workshop emphasized the principles of outcomes-based education, constructive alignment, and the systematic integration of intended learning outcomes, teaching-learning activities, and assessment methods. Faculty members were guided in strengthening course documentation to ensure clarity, coherence, and alignment with recognized regional quality assurance frameworks.
As an AUN-QA member institution, JMCFI continues to uphold internationally benchmarked standards that promote consistency, transparency, and continuous improvement in academic programs. The AUN-QA framework supports institutional efforts to enhance program quality and ensure comparability across higher education institutions in Southeast Asia.
This initiative forms part of JMCFI’s ongoing commitment to ACQ (Assured, Consistent, Quality) Education and reinforces its culture of excellence, as taught by its founding president, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy. Through sustained faculty development programs, the institution strengthens its academic practices in pursuit of quality and institutional excellence.
