
From last year’s 66.67% passing rate of the pioneering batch in the Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), the Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. – College of Medicine subsequent batch significantly hedged on increasing the passing rate to 73.33%. Marking its hike on surpassing the national passing rate from last year’s 8.41%, the new roster of JMarian physicians has made a 23.63% rise in performance.
The 11 newly licensed JMarian physicians who hurdled the four-day examination are as follows: Abdul Nasifh B. Bilao, MD, Danver John B. Carillo, MD, Elde Jane G. Doydora, MD, Karen R. Embradura, MD, Norhanah A. Enok, MD, Phoebe Devorah F. Esleta, MD, Krea Joyce E. Estanda, MD, Danielle Andrea M. Ibaos, MD, Patrick Jason A. Maravilla, MD, Ivinn Karl G. Raranggol, MD, and Mitzi Bless V. Rosete, MD.
On a Facebook post, the COM congratulates the thriving pool of new JMarian physicians.
“This incredible milestone is a testament to the dedication, excellence, and unwavering spirit of our first batches of graduates, our committed faculty, and the entire JMCFI community,” the post reads.
March-April 2025 Physicians Licensure Examination
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 1,901 out of 3,827 passed the Physicians Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medicine in N. C. R., Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The members of the Board of Medicine who gave the licensure examination are, Dr. Efren C. Laxamana, Chairman; Dr. Zenaida L. Antonio, Dr. Godofreda V. Dalmacion, Dr. Martha O. Nucum, Dr. Joanna V. Remo and Dr. Prudencio Z. Sta. Lucia, Jr. (Inhibited), Members.
The results were released in four (4) working days from the last day of examination.
