Peace be unto you all.
Today, we mark a powerful moment in your lives—a culmination of years of learning, growing, enduring, and overcoming. Your journey is etched with trials, and yet here you stand—not just as survivors of adversity, but as victors refined by it.
The theme you carry—“Emerging Stronger: A Generation Refined by Adversity, Empowered by Purpose”—resonates deeply not only with your experiences, but also with mine. You and I, in different stages of life, have both come to understand that adversity is not a setback—it is a shaping hand of destiny. All of you may have already been aware that I too have faced unjust persecution.
I have been silenced, maligned, and stripped of many things. But not of my voice. Not of my purpose. Not of my calling. And so, like many of you, I chose not to be broken by adversity, but refined by it. And today, I am one with you—empowered by faith and purpose. It is this purpose that has led me to heed a greater call—to step into the political arena, and take part hands-on in the work of nation building.
For too long, I have seen the cries of the oppressed go unanswered, the righteous silenced, and corruption flourish unpunished. I can no longer stand by. That is why I made the decision to run for Senator in the coming May 2025 elections—not to gain power, but to restore its true purpose: service, righteousness, and truth. My campaign bears the slogan: “Ayusin Natin ang Pilipinas.” This is not just a promise—it is a mission. A call to clean our government from the inside out. A call to build a nation where truth is upheld, where service is sincere, and where every Filipino—especially the young—is empowered to fulfill their destiny.
To our Grade School and Senior High School graduates—you are the future of this nation. But you are also the present. Your voice matters now. Your values, your integrity, your courage—these are the building blocks of a new Philippines. Do not wait for the world to change. Be the ones who will change it. And remember, excellence without character is hollow. Intelligence without purpose is wasted. Use what you have learned to serve others.
Defend the truth. Stand for what is right. And above all, never let fear dictate your path. Let purpose lead you. Let God guide you.
As Founding President of this institution, and as someone who has devoted my life to raising a generation of champions, I bless each one of you. You were not born to blend in—you were born to stand out. You were not shaped by comfort—but by fire. And from this fire, you have emerged—stronger, bolder, brighter.
