CTE hits record anew as 1st-time LET takers attain 100% pass rate again

DAVAO, Davao del Sur, May 24 — New JMarian roster of professional teachers proved another stellar performance in the March 2024 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). All first-time takers from both Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) aced the exam, constituting a 100% passing rate. The national passing rate of both programs is 58.78%. Results were released 47 working days after the last day of exams. In the national level, PRC announced that 20,890 elementary teachers out of 44,764 examinees (46.67%) and 50,539 secondary teachers out of 85,980 examinees (58.78%) successfully passed the exams. The examination results for thirty-six (36) examinees were withheld pending the final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations. The LET was conducted on March 17, 2024, at testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan,  Cebu,  Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catanduanes, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Laguna, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Romblon, and Tagum. The Board of Professional Teachers is headed by its Chairman, Dr. Rosita L. Navarro; Vice Chairman, Dr. Paz I. Lucido; and members, Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy.
