JMarian Pupil Wins Bronze in Siam International Math and Science Olympic

Gabriel Drew A. Magsipoc, a JMarian pupil in the Integrated Basic Education, made his school proud by winning a Bronze medal in the SIMSO Philippines or SIAM International Math and Science Olympics held on March 5, 2023. The competition showcased some of the brightest minds in the fields of Mathematics and Science.

Gabriel expressed nervousness at the beginning of the competition, but his hard work and dedication paid off in the end. After the results were announced, he was overjoyed and grateful for the support he received from his parents, teachers, and the school.

“I was very nervous at first because anything could happen, but I was happy after knowing the result,” Gabriel shared.

The next step for Gabriel is to compete in the international round, which will be held in Thailand on August 25-28, 2023. He is determined to represent his school and his country and bring home another victory.

Gabriel took the opportunity to express his gratitude to his parents, teachers, and the founding President, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, for their unwavering support and inspiration throughout his journey. He also dedicated his victory to God, acknowledging that without Him, he would not have achieved such an accomplishment.

The SIMSO Philippines or SIAM International Math and Science Olympics aims to recognize and develop young minds with exceptional talent and passion for Mathematics and Science. The competition also serves as a platform to showcase the country’s potential in these fields. With Gabriel’s win, JMCFI continues proving its mathematics and science prowess.
