The quiz bee was held as part of the 2nd Accounting Students Research Festival, which was co-organized by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants Committee on Research and Development, PWC Philippines – Isla Liparia & Co., and PICPA Foundation Committee on Research & Development National Association of CPAs in Education.
The three students from JMCFI who made it to the finals are Paolo Luis Flores, Czarina Andrea Gabato, and April Joy Manait. Their impressive performance in the elimination round has earned them the distinction of being the lone qualifiers from a school based in Davao. It is worth noting that the Accounting Research Online Quiz Bee is known for its rigorous testing and challenging questions, making their feat all the more remarkable.
As accounting research is an important field of study, the quiz bee is a platform for students to showcase their skills and knowledge.
