JMCFI’s New Strategic Plan Paves Roadmap to Global Recognition

On March 27-28, 2023, the Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. held a two-day Strategic Planning conference in the Island Garden City of Samal, Philippines. The conference aimed to develop a new strategic plan to achieve academic excellence and improve performance for its primary stakeholders – the students. The Academic Council, consisting of Vice Presidents, Associate Vice Presidents, Deans, and several Directors, discussed measures to streamline the institution’s processes and ensure that goals are achieved within set timelines.

The event focused on aligning the institution’s goals with its vision of becoming a leading university worldwide. The new strategic plan outlines a clear roadmap for the next five years, detailing a series of measures supported by the faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners. The plan aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and society.

Our new strategic plan reflects our vision for the future and outlines a clear roadmap for achieving our goals,” said Dr. Felix C. Chavez, Jr., the School President. He expressed his confidence in realizing the institution’s mission and goals. The council is optimistic that the plan’s implementation will improve the institution’s performance and benefit its primary stakeholders – the students.
