On welcoming college JMarians in 2nd sem | SSC bids memory-keeping drive thru photobooth

As a way of safekeeping memories, while also giving a kick-off for the 2nd semester for the academic year 2023-2024, the Supreme Student Council (SSC) of Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. (JMCFI) urged JMarians to strike a pose at the welcome-back-to-school photo booth station to keep memorabilia of the first-day-high fever.

The photobooth drive, which comes along with a “Freedom Wall” and Merch selling, provided JMarians with friendly gimmicks as they conquer the new semester.

In a Facebook post, SSC extended its gratitude to all those who took part in the activity. “Thank you for your immense support of yesterday’s welcoming activity,” SSC said.

“Watch out for more exciting activities in the future,” SSC added.

When asked why they came up with the idea of mounting a photo booth, Divine Recon Rose Fontanilla, the SSC President said, “I always believe that pictures lasts [sic] for a lifetime time well not it’s quality but as time passes by it became a tapestry of the past and serves as a remembrance of how good the yesterday was.”

“Underrated it is but the first day of school holds one of the greatest value in the pursuit of a successful career and we would love to take a remembrance of it for the students. I want the JMarians few years from now to look at the pictures and remember how they started,” Fontanilla further shared.

The photo booth was mounted on Jan. 17, 2024. This was also participated in by primary and secondary students of JMCFI. (JMCFI News/ Lord Vincent Van N. Mendoza)
