CTE attains above national pass rate in September 2023 BLEPT

JMCFI Passer for Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) 2023

DAVAO CITY, Davao del Sur – The College of Teacher Education (CTE) program of Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. (JMCFI) achieved above national passing rate in the September 2023 Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT).

Basing from the 47.01% passing rate in the elementary level and 56.26% in the secondary level, JMCFI’s CTE finished the examination with 100% passing rate in the former and 83.33% in the latter.

The new JMarian Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs) title holders were all first-time takers.

“We are happy to know that our LET takers achieved above the national passing rate performance. This means for us that our efforts have paid off. The faculty at the College of Teacher Education made it sure that our students are given the right opportunities and training that resulted to this LET result. This is a collective triumph fueled by the patience and excellent mentoring provided by our CTE faculty,” CTE Dean, Dr. Angelita M. Ruiz said.

“Our heartfelt congratulations to our LET passers for their perseverance and diligence. This achievement reinforces our college’s commitment to excellence in education, and I am confident that with such a dedicated community, we will continue to reach even greater heights in the future,” she added.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 23,782 out of 50,593 (47.01%) of elementary teachers and 53,995 out of 95,969 (56.26%) secondary teachers successfully passed the September 2023 LET.

The BLEPT took place on Sept. 24, 2023, at testing centers located in Bangkok, Thailand and at the 40 testing centers around the country.
