PCAP inducts new members, awards JMCFI recognition for top performance

77 days after the last day of the February 2024 Licensure Examination for Criminologists, new members of the Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PCAP), including Jared A. Maglasang (who landed seventh placer in the exam), were inducted and the College got awarded for its exemplary performance.

Having obtained a rating of 77.42% for Category C (with 26-50 examinees), the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) has been recognized as top 2 performing school in the Licensure Examination.

Maglasang took the chance to motivate his fellow passers.

“I just want to take this opportunity to thank all the parents who tirelessly supported their children,” Maglasang expressed as seen on a video speech on his Facebook.

MAGLASANG LANDING SEVENTH PLACE

Out of the 15,684 successful candidates, Maglasang finished seventh placer in the Board. He is the sole topnotcher from Davao City. He snagged an 89.50% rating.

Maglasang is among the 24 JMarian passers who hurdled the exam in one take.

As a way of incentivizing his exemplary performance in the exam being a topnotcher, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy awarded him PHP 200, 000.00. In a testimonial and recognition program on Monday evening, Maglasang expressed his gratitude to the school community and its founder.


The induction of new members and the oathtaking took place at the Grand Menseng Hotel, Magallanes St. Davao City on Apr. 22, 2024.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 15,684 out of 32,495 passed the Licensure Examination for Criminologists given by the Board of Criminology last February 2024 in 28 testing centers all over the Philippines.
