Supreme Court Associate Justice, Atty. Jose Midas P. Marquez, Set to Inspire JMCFI College of Law Graduates as Esteemed Commencement Speaker

Anticipation is building as we look ahead to the extraordinary event that awaits JMCFI College of Law on Thursday, June 8, 2023. The stage will be graced by none other than Atty. Jose Midas P. Marquez, a highly respected Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines, will take center stage as the esteemed JMCFI College of Law 4th Commencement Speaker. The ceremony will revolve around the theme “Harnessing Resilience, Hope, and Faith: Inspiring a Culture of Love,” emphasizing the timeless power of these virtues in the face of any adversity. The forthcoming Commencement Exercises will be a momentous occasion as JMCFI College of Law celebrates the achievements of its upcoming twenty Juris Doctor graduates.

Adding to the excitement, the Commencement Exercises will also shine a spotlight on the achievements of the Summer 2022 program graduates, Nalla, Glene A., and Suralta, Marlou V., whose perseverance have propelled them to this momentous milestone.

The future holds immense promise for the 2023 batch as they eagerly anticipate their well-deserved accolades. Notably, Ms. Michelle Jade G. Tinio, the class valedictorian, will also be honored for her exceptional academic achievements, having earned the Academic Excellence Award, Most Outstanding Mooter, and Excellence in Legal Research Writing. Likewise, Ms. Brilla Joy D. Cosgafa will receive the class salutatorian award, while Ms. Ma. Cristina G. Morales will be recognized for her exceptional performance as the recipient of the 3rd Honors. Ms. Morales will also be honored with the prestigious Pastor ACQ Leadership Award, along with titles for Outstanding Law Student Practitioner and Service Awardee. Additionally, Ms. Lorelie E. Ledesma, Ms. Angelica M. Jayag, and Ms. Wena Jane R. Barcebal will be awarded for their remarkable accomplishments, securing 4th, 5th, and 6th honors respectively.

The phenomenal success of JMCFI College of Law is a result of the efforts of its leaders, Atty. Israelito P. Torreon, the College Dean, Atty. Resci Angelli Rizada-Nolasco, the Assistant Dean, and the invaluable management support of School President, Dr. Felix C. Chavez, Jr., Ms. Rosemarie N. Dimagnaong, School Administrator, and Atty. Eunice L. Ambrocio, Associate VP for Legal Education. Above all, the resounding support, prayers, and intercessions of JMCFI Founder, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, have been instrumental in the college’s success. The college achieved an impressive rank of #3 among law schools with 51-100 examinees, priding a first-time takers’ pass rate of 69.64%. Furthermore, in the 2021 Bar Exam, all first-time takers from JMCFI College of Law achieved a record-breaking 100% pass rate. In the 2022 Bar Exam, the college proudly produced 39 new lawyers, solidifying its commitment to excellence in legal education.
